Not much to tell, though things are getting more serious. Two Moose-crossing warning signs. A temperature that made my nipples burn while riding in my summer outfit. And vegetation transforming:

Notice the Birch Trees Appearing
For tomorrow‘s ride I‘ll add a wind breaker. I have more cold weather ammo with me beyond that wind protection.
But Canada is Canada

If a Canadian designs your septic system. No cheating there. And: we say ‚Please‘ here when we refuse entry to someone. Now, if you say something nice about Canadians, is that still stereotyping? And if so, is it un-woke? Are you forbidden, no matter the valence? Deep questions that arise on a rest day in a place with few tourist options:
Attractions in Lake Williams
The only tourist attraction I found for Lake Williams is an ATV store, and ridiculously dangerous looking mountain bike rides.

I admit, they look like fun. And from skiing I do understand that this route is doable. But unfortunately not for me at this point. Though tempted. As an 80s Lake Tahoe commercial explained:
„I like to fall down in the snow.“
On the other hand, one could likely do the route slowly. Maybe I should have. Then again, it was a rest day…
Experiment: Insta 360 X3

Please excuse the inexcusably bad background erase job in this image. A black pickup had parked behind my black camera. I‘m not proficient on the iPad based Affinity Photo. Point is, I bought this camera and the associated motorcycle kit.
The camera is very similar to GoPro, I believe. This one has one 180 deg camera on each side. Software then lets you either orbit in a shot, Or just turn a part of it into a photo.
The main hope is that I can take photos on the road without taking off my gloves, which are difficult to get back into from the moisture that accumulates during riding. Though maybe that won‘t be a problem going forward. Sometimes I even had trouble getting my pinkie into its garage, and had to leave it partly bent as I resumed riding after taking a photo shot. This effect was my excuse for buying the camera. A safety thing. What do you think?
Of course, having a thing stick up from your side view mirror isn‘t great either. But I realized that issue after I bought the camera and mounted it.
The camera is amazing in its capabilities. But they put so many controls into it, such as five or so frame rate settings when running video, that it‘s very easy to mess up the simplest task: take one photo.
We‘ll see.
